Course 1: What’s new in WTX 8.1 and 8.2 and upgrade from Mercator ( 2 days)

This training program is designed for current users of Mercator or Data Stage TX Software’s design tools. The course offers instruction focused on use of the new and improved WTX 8.2 eclipse design studio functionality and is designed to facilitate the transition for current users to new WTX 8.2.x version. The course also includes hands-on exercises designed to help attendees become at ease with new WTX 8.2.x eclipse platform.

Prerequisites: Current working knowledge of Mercator, DataStage TX is required for this course.

This training program is designed for 4 – 5 full days, provides an overview of the WebSphere Transformation Extender (WTX) and the fundamentals of data transformation. This course offers basic instruction, through lecture and hands-on exercises.

Prerequisites: There are no course prerequisites for the class; understanding of data formats and structure is required for the fundamentals of data transformation.
